- Help the members of the States to elaborate policies, general plans and national strategies specific to the use of ICTs in education.
- Arrange joint initiatives and support national flagship projects on the use of ICTs in Pro of SDG 4.
- Strengthen the capacity of teachers to use ICTs in education and empower girls and women through joint activities with other UNESCO trust projects.
-Document and disseminate best practices to use ICT in education, with special attention to innovations in the digital field.
